Its fun to watch television shows that show women who are getting a great makeover done. But that’s not all you have to pay for. Those who want to have implants put in often have to pay for things such as the anesthesiologist, the hospital visit, and any length of time they’ll have to recover from their surgery. Once again this can cause women to have to shell out another $5,000 to $10,000 for these prices, or possibly even more if they are going to a swanky place.
The Hidden Costs
Then there are the hidden costs: those costs that women don’t think about when they’re looking into getting surgery done. These costs are found in a number of places. The time that is spent away from work, for instance, can be a huge fee. Women who have implants put in usually have to spend anywhere from two to three weeks recovering before they’re well enough to start working again, making them miss out on a great deal of their income.
